The Great Wave and some new creative ventures

Hey friends,

We wanted to reach out and thank you for all of your belief and support of our recent album The Great Wave. If you’ve loved the album and want to share it with a friend – be sure to gift it on ITUNES or buy a physical one from skippinggirlvinegar.com

It’s been a big 12 months and we’re deeply grateful for our supporters, media, festivals and national art centres that have supported the record and received it so warmly. As we come to the end of this album touring cycle, we’ve decided to pop Skipping Girl Vinegar on the shelf while we put energies into our families (some that are soon to be expanded), along with some other personal creative projects.

Much love,

Amanthi, Chris, Kelly, Mark & Sare

★★★★ Album of the Week “Springsteen-esque lyrics backed by pulsing rhythms that feels as though the band is about to levitate…Songs of hope shine through life’s stormy seas.” Noel Mengel, The Courier Mail

★★★★ 1/2 Feature Album “There’s a relentless spirit at the heart of this album… Lang is a fine storyteller with a voice warm and believable.” Stack Magazine

Feature Album of the Week “’Dance Again’ is the sound of an ear-to-ear smile bursting out of your speakers. It’s a feel good love-in, with bits of Arcade Fire, Springsteen and lashings of gang chants, class and brass… The Great Wave swings from deep joy, to deep reflection and emotional rescue… It’s kind of like the Killers meets Fleetwood Mac”. Cameron Adams, The Herald Sun
