The Great Wave and some new creative ventures

Hey friends,

We wanted to reach out and thank you for all of your belief and support of our recent album The Great Wave. If you’ve loved the album and want to share it with a friend – be sure to gift it on ITUNES or buy a physical one from skippinggirlvinegar.com

It’s been a big 12 months and we’re deeply grateful for our supporters, media, festivals and national art centres that have supported the record and received it so warmly. As we come to the end of this album touring cycle, we’ve decided to pop Skipping Girl Vinegar on the shelf while we put energies into our families (some that are soon to be expanded), along with some other personal creative projects.

Much love,

Amanthi, Chris, Kelly, Mark & Sare

NEW FILM CLIP! ‘Dance Again’

A few months back, a group of friends loaned us a small aeroplane and made us some sparkly golden jumpsuits. Mark put his head over the back fence and somehow convinced a handful of extremely young at heart elderly neighbours to pile into the SGV van and head 10 minutes down the road, to the small coastal airport just outside of the town the album was written and recorded.

We are so excited to finally show you what happened when we pushed the sparkly jumpsuits (as well as the people wearing them) and a bunch of camera equipment out of that perfectly good aeroplane 14,000 feet above the stunning Victorian coastline. The result was absolute magic and better than anything we could have hoped for.

(None of Mark’s neighbours were harmed in in the making of this clip!)
